Education is a significant part of the Rama Kings program. We expect our players to attend 100% of their classes. When players move here, parents and players are required to sign waivers giving the Kings Education Coordinator access to grades and attendance records.

This is done solely for the athletes benefit. It can be a tremendous asset to have the new found freedoms that come along with going away to play lacrosse. We feel these rules are in place to help our athletes succeed in the long run, and help them enjoy their experience as a King.

There are several different educational options during your stay in Orillia. Located on the southern edge of the town is the Orillia Campus of Georgian College. University courses are offered here as well through York University in Toronto, and Laurentian University in Sudbury.

For players that are in high school but looking to develop your lacrosse career in a great setting, we have 4 different high schools that players may attend.

The Kings Scholarship Fund is also a draw for many players looking to play Junior "A". Each year the Kings put money towards the educational costs of our players. When a player registers full-time at a university or college, he is eligible for funds from our scholarship fund which is accrued over the time the player is here. Funding is dictated upon community involvement, team committment, and overall character.
